Olay Eye Makeup Remover Review

Soo. I bought a new eye makeup remover. I was in Asda and it was only a pound(I know wow).. I thought I'd take the opportunity to try it out properly when I had a load of eyeliner on the other day.

Positives of this product
-Gets eyeliner off well
-Makes skin on eyes feel creamy(is that a thing that eyes can do?)
-Seems to smoothen skin
-Moisturises a bit
-Just glides on and wipes off
-No need to rub so eyes don't go all red
-Price

Negatives
-Eyeliner goes everywhere
-Eyeliner gets black mess all over hands( I looked like an old timey printer of newspapers,or a paperboy. Yeah, a paperboy)
-Some got a bit too close to my eye and things were blurry for a while.Really blurry.
-Can't do the lash line and didn't want to try after the blur incident.
Overall despite the blur I didn't mind this product. It did its job relatively well. If I wasn't so keen on trying new products I would repurchase this.Anyway, this is all talk because I'll never run out of this.I could use it every day but I never seem to run out of things.Such is my cosmetic luck.

Manicure Monday:Belated St Patricks day

Megalomanic Monday wasn't really working for me. I felt like this blog was just becoming a place where I can talk about what I want and maybe giving the vibe that Im just doing it for people to send me stuff. Im really not. I have this blog because Im just discovering fashion, shoes, nails, make up and everything that comes with taking care of your appearance more than I have done in the past. So I decided to change to manicure monday. I might still do wish lists because I think they say quite a bit about my personal style and help me develop it by looking around for things that appeal to me, but ill probably do those sort of posts every other week. Ive been learning how to do stuff with nails recently so manicure monday was born.Hopefully that will make this more of a style blog than an I want blog.So here goes
Yesterday was St Patrick's Day. Sadly I didn't do anything because I have stuff going on right now. But I did do these St Patrick Day nails.I didn't do a tutorial but I can do if you want one. Will probably do it in video form to make it easier.
Some of them are pretty blobby because I did it in about 15 minutes with my "dotting tool".My next one of these will probably be a tutorial but as I said if you want a tutorial for this specific look write in the comments.

Millionth Way I Style My Disco Pants.

I should really do a lookbook with ways to style disco pants because I wear them so much.Sorry.Theyre my go to trousers because the weather is pretty weird at the moment  and I like to be warm.

It was a good night. However I did have a fight with my lita's. We are both stressed, some things were said that we didn't mean. I didn't pad them enough and it looks like i tried to saw my toe off.Not a good look.Ouch

Relaxing all cool

I have dove, dived? into the 90's trend head first.loving the crop tops ,the levi's, the converses and I have bought myself a trucker hat which is pretty much a flat cap.Tie dye obviously. This is my take on the 90's. I didn't observe the fashions too much when I lived in it because I was 7.I have got like 4 crop tops now so i reckon I can do this 90s trend.I dont think the cut outness of this top is shown enough but it is all awesome and cut outy on the shoulders.

Also observe the sunny weather. It didn't start snowing until after I put this outfit on and long after I was able to change it so i'm not brave

Megalomanic Monday:Best of Romwe Leggings

My work has a habit of all coming at once so I almost didn't manage to do this post, but at quarter to 12 I decided I had to do it.I rushed over to romwe and got stuck in the leggings section, I couldnt help it they're all so amazing. So here goes
1.These are reminiscent of leggings i have seen that are either by black milk or lovely sally(who also have awesome leggings). These are a an amazing pair that would look fab with a black shirt, maybe a sheer one and some awesome cut out boots
2.These remind me of black milks call of napoleon leggings, they're not similar but they remind me of them. I love them and the stained glass window effect, i'm not a religious person but if you have seen any of my hauls or previous mm's im drawn to religious things, i.e crosses.
 3. I've been looking for a decent set of mesh leggings since a saw a girl on the bus wearing some. They're awesome and so easy to wear. plus black is so flattering which makes me worry less about the fact the mesh panels highlight one of my problems areas.
4.Valentines day is recent enough to keep getting mentioned so I had to include some swan leggings because they mate for life(How romantic), these are really elegant and could be worn day or evening. PLus I could wear these the scare me little brother since hes scared of swans.hehe, its ok hes almost 16, its not that mean
5.These are so funky. I love them. They're really hipster but elegant and the same time and embodying last years ombre trend. My only issue it that the design is at the bottom and i'm too short for them to be seen on my, i'm too short for leggings =(
6.GOTH ALERT! Goth Sammy is back. And she loves these. These would rock with my spiked litas and a combat jacket. Plus they look pretty good and would flatter a range of figures.Im tempted to mess with the system and get these to wear if I ever have an xray.
7.The front of these are a triangle design which reminds me of the front of a Pink Floyd album, that makes me think, wow, indie much? I love things that really stand out but I also wear a lot of black so these would compliment anything I wear and add a much needed colour injection to any outfit.
8.These are beyond amazing. I love retro and I love mario. I want these because my friends will love them, but will probably be a constant reminder of a crazy evening of mario kart we had. Aww embarrasing memories.
9.I almost got pacman as my first tattoo, kinda wish I had, oh well there' time. Its so awesome, frustrating and fun and an embodiment of an era that was so important for fashion and technological advance. These dont really embody that but they are fun. The boyfriend got me a pacman ice cube tray for christmas, made me the happiest girl in the world
10.Tetris, tetris tetris. Its safe to say these are tetris inspired. They are awesome and bright but not as in your face as some of the other leggings on Romwe(not that in your faceness is a bad thing). I love the geometric pattern on these.

Sorry that was so rushed.ill do better next week. Will get more outfit posts up soon as I have some new really awesome stuff to style.Have a great week!

Megalomanic Mondays:Lush edition

This week i've been thinking what do I want to include in this weeks MM. One of the the things I though I would include was everything from Lush because my skin is angry at me right now because i've been too busy to look after it, so i'm constantly sitting around with face masks on. Right  now its the Mask of Magnaminty. It's going to be 10 things again because I am legitimately obsessed with Lush, its bad.Writing this its hard not for me to invent problems so I can buy everything. My boyfriend got me £30 worth of stuff for valentines day and now I just want to buy everything.
1.I was writing this thinking about massages. I'm human,I like a good massage. Its relaxing and it takes away some of the aches and pains. My first thought was if I got one of these tom would have to give me massages when I get period pains. But then I thought about when I finish work and I ache. These seem like a good idea because massage oils are so expensive and these are pretty reasonably priced. I was looking a specific scent. This one screamed to me because its called Ego and i'm studying the psychoanalytic approach at the moment. It also has lavender in it which is my favourite scent. Its also got tarragon which smells amazing and combined with lemon juice makes a banging chicken marinade.
 2. Ive really started getting into good quality shower gels and bath schtuff. Ive used up all my cheap crappy ones and now I have Peach Voulette from the body shop to use which was a holiday gift from toms aunt. It feels nice to treat myself. Plus my skin is pretty good so I don't need a lot of product to get results so the price tag on the more high end products doesn't bother me as much. This is soothing so I liked this one the best. I don't have that sensitive skin on my body, its mainly my face but I feel like this would be useful when shaving to prevent shaving rash which I do get sometimes. I should probably start using shaving creams which since Lush do them will probably be the next on my list. Bad Sammy
3.This drew my attention when I was in Lush last. My boyfriend was daft enough to leave me outside a Lush for more than 5 seconds while we at Waterloo so I bought Ultrabland, because I got Mask of magnaminty for valentines days, and only just realised its not a cleanser and I need a new cleanser. This caught my eye because I have the foot scrub and it seems like this would finish off a pampering sesh by providing moisture when you get rid of the dry skin. This would make my feet very happy, which I need since i've started wearing legit heels and not wedges.
4.This is my favourite of the bubble bars but I went for the cheaper ones when I got mine. I love the smell of lavender that this has and the fact you actually get lavender with it. Lavender reminds me of my grandmas garden, its such a happy relaxing scent. This looks pretty awesome too with the mottled purple effect. This would be amazing for after a stressful day.
 5. For valentines day I was looking for a proper face mask and when I was searching the website for things for this post I was amazed that I didn't choose this one. Its for dry and sensitive skin which is a problem that I have. Because its winter my skin is extra dry and I feel like this would be one of those treats that would help for a little bit until I could properly cleanse and tone.Wish I had gotten this instead.
 6. If I didn't have Ultrabland I would have gotten this. I want a proper cleanser but the ones that Lush do seem to be quite fussy. They're a bit like face masks and you have to properly use water and scrub with them to get an effect. I prefer a liquid because I have to cleanse and tone everyday at the moment. I get up in the morning and cleanse and tone before I put on my make up so I want something I can use and not have to think about because I am NOT a morning person. I'm so tired I don't want to have to think about my face.
7.My Hair is flat as a pancake. Volume is something I have trouble with. Sometimes its quite awkward because its fine and backcombing doesn't always work. Id like to try this because I want to try lots of different things to try and get my hair more voluminous. I'm gutted that I'd have to give up my Aussie to use this because it makes my hair soft. Id maybe try and use both.
8.I love this mainly because of the name. Its amazing. Apparently it it chocolate and coffee. I'm not a massive fan of coffee but it seems like a fun one to try.I like things that smell like chocolate. It has hints of lime in it which I love. I recently got soap and glories shower scrub and that smells of Lime so much, its such a great smell that leaves you feeling so clean.
9.My hair is fine, which is why its so flat. Id love to be able to treat it a little to make the condition a bit better. The condition is pretty good as it is. Far too good for the amount of dying it has taken, probably because I don't style it that often. But its always good to look after yourself so I like the idea of something specifically for fine hair.
10.Getting my hair dip dyed has been really awkward because I have so much red in my hair. The bottom blonde part is pretty brassy. My hair dresser said to use a clarifying shampoo to avoid brassy tones but id prefer to use this. Mainly because I trust Lush as a brand. Obviously it will not reverse the brassy tones I have at the moment but I would love to try it after I get it dyed next.
So yeah that was my Megalomanic Mondays.I have a lush haul video to do and will get that up ASAP but its unlikely to be before Wednesday because i'm balls deep in uni work.So sorry guys. Let me know below if you would like to see any favourites videos because i'm tempted to start doing those.
