January Haul peeps!

Well.That was a lot of shopping I did in january.The sale have never been so deadly to me before.I actually sprained my ankle shopping.But it was worth it because I have some of the best things I have ever bought.Got another haul coming when my parcel arrives, but ill film this one during the day so its a bit better quality.Hope you enjoy it!

Megalomanic Mondays

Its time for another Megalomanic Mondays. I panicked knowing I had to write this because I couldnt think about what I want. I started doing stuff at uni so its been a pretty quiet week for me fashion wise. Its all psychology psychology psychology. My panicking made me delve into my vast bookmark list and this is what I came up with. Though I do have to do another post because I really wanna destroy Yayer.

1.Dammit I can't help myself. Im back to crosses again. I know its not that chic or fashiony or whatever the word is when you wear something and you look banging. But a good pair of trackies are really important. I have a pair of trackies, but these are so awesome I'd be proud to go to the gym in these. My boyfriend has some like this and i'm eternally jealous of him because of it. I want these, they look so comfy!Also these are from drop dead

 2. I saw a skirt like this on Amy Valentine's blog (Dayam that girl has style,I would destroy her wardrobe), but its from american apparel and I can't find it online. I did find this pretty sweet dupe of it for the same price on ASOS. Its not grey like the one I like but I do like it.It looks pretty flattering with the skater style and I think the vertical stripes would be flattering too.

 3. OOOOH TIE DYE. Me and my friends have been considering tie dying some stuff and i'm all for it. I love tie dye.I might tie dye my whole wardrobe, actually scratch that, i'm gonna tie dye my house,not just the bit I live in, the whole house.This skirt looks great and could work for a daytime or evening look. Plus it would look sick with my new shoes. And its cheaper on ASOS than the stripe skirt so everyone's a winner.

 4. I have been looking for a sheer black shirt for ages and this one has studs so im madly in love. This one from Krisp is pretty reasonably priced and I think it would go with everything and give every outfits that dressed up look that I am really trying to achieve.

5. I'm starting to think this whole spikes and leather thing I got going on is pushing me towards being a sado masochist.If I bought half the things I loved that were spikes and leather I would certainly have the attire to be a gimp. I love a good bralet though. I have some gorgeous skirts and bralets look great with them .Plus there's my beautiful new disco pants. I really need more bralets in my life. Im loving the ones Topshop has at the moment.

That was my somehow quite restrained Megalomanic Mondays.I have a tonne more pictures of stuff on my laptop that sadly didnt make it here.

I discovered Yayer a few months ago through another blog and didn't really pay much attention to it.But i had to pillage my bookmarks to find 5 things for Megalomanic Mondays and i'm really loving whats on there at the moment. These are my favourite pieces.

VELVET. I'm really getting into velvet which is weird because I used to hate it. I love the texture it can add to an outfit.

BONES.Need I say more. These are awesome.

 I'm loving a high neck crop top at the moment. I just bought one from Topshop and I've considered getting in the washing machine with it just so i'd never have to take it off.

 LEATHER.the sado in me loves this cropped top.Its so mod.I love it.

 This is pretty.Bodycon skirts look so great.its just getting the confidence to wear them

 OOh high low dress oooh

 This is so out there.Vibrant and grungy,I just wish clutches weren't so awkward.

 I took resistant materials at GCSE so rivets appeal to me.And as leather bodycon skirt?C'mon, thats awesome.

 Shirt shirt shirt shirty shirt shirt shirt. I've been after some shirts because they are so easy to style. And this one is so fun.

 So yeah. That's all the fashion that's going on in my head right now. My lottery numbers need to come up so I can buy all this.

OOTD There are errands to be run!

Its been very cold and very snowy so I haven't been out of the house much. Its been like this for days

Me:hey nipples, can I leave the house?

Nipples:nope 

I have to consult my nipples otherwise they'll kick up a fuss and get all hurty and perky.

I decided to own my style and post more outfit of the days whether they're dressy or not.

But here's an outfit of the day for going out to face the cold.In retrospect the converse were a bad idea because it was slippy.But I had no other choice. Once I move back into the flat ill be able to use my tripod and take better pictures, for now this is what you must contend with. 

Also don't mind my hair.it was still wet and I have no idea where my hairdryer is.I have the feeling its not in the same county as I am.

Megalomanic Mondays

OK someone has to high five me for this post not being 30 pairs of shoes I've been looking at recently. I've been into office for the first time ever recently which has spurred me on for shoe shopping, and online too!go Sammy  But yeah this is the 5 things I've been lusting after recently.

1.I had no idea how horrible this photo was but i'll describe what its supposed to be.They are supposed to be sequin leggings.I love them because they look so glam and would be great for clubbing or the theatre or anything where I have to leave the house and look awesome.I found these ones on Boohoo for a ridiculous £12.Thats so cheap, I may have to get them

 2.No matter how stylish i'm trying to be,converse will always have my heart.I know converse at stylish but I don't know how to style them that doesn't make me look like I really couldn't be arsed. I've loved the american flag Chuck Taylor's since they came out but ill be damned if I pay full price for converse. These are a pretty reasonable £25 from office.And I have to say I really do like them.

3. This looks like its going to be one of the main trends of 2013. Which is fine by me because these cut out boots have the perfect amount of military inspiration to appeal to me. I love the military trend and if these boots weren't £90 They would be in my wardrobe right now.The only trouble with cut out boots is that they seem so expensive.

4.Big surprise a dark red lipstick. They  fascinate me. And after getting a Barry M lip paint recently i've loved the idea of getting another one in my search for the perfect shade. I know Mac is good because everyone raves about it, I have a mac blush myself and I love it, the shade is great, the consistency is great.So I might shell out £14 for this lipstick. This shade looks lighter than the Barry M lip paint that I have but from swatching it in the shop it seems darker than the one I have.I love it,its a really great shade. This like the benefit mascara I will talk about next I might get this because I know it will last me a long time.

5. I've heard a lot about this mascara, according to some bloggers its the best mascara that you can buy at the moment. Like mac products I have used benefit products way back when, I used to have the rose water toner and some sort of cream thing that made your skin uber soft so I know benefit is good and I am really intrigued by this product. I need a new mascara so i'm tempted to get this one. Though the price is quite high I might still get it because mascara lasts me ages so its probably going to be worth the money. I really love the spikey (see spikes are awesome!) bit at the end that looks like its for your lower lashes, that looks so helpful, in the past I have had to have two sets of mascara so I could have a thinner brushed one to do my lower lashes so one that can do both sets of lashes is great.

 So that's my Megalomanic Monday for this week. Yay! I did another one. These are all great products and clothes and i'm really tempted to try them out and see whether they are as good as they look. I'd love to know what five thinks you'd love to have at the moment.

Megalomanic Mondays

Im thinking of doing a new thing for 2013 called megalomanic mondays. Not that im saying bloggers are megalomanic,I am a tad though. So megalomanic mondays will be 5 things i've been looking at over the past week. Eventually I might do other weekly features.Who knows,heres ya first one.
No particular order of how much I want them

1.Ive been wanting a dark red lipstick for ages and have purchased multiple types of lipstick looking for the shade vampy enough.this one seemed quite dark when I tested it in boots,but for all I know Ill buy it and it too will not  be dark enough.If you have a good dark red lipstick,let me know in the comments section

2.Since my early teenage years I have leant towards gothicness(If that even a word) and as much as I tried to fight it,my gothic tendencies still linger. This means that if I see something cross shapes, skull shaped, bone shaped, black, lace, leather etc im going to want it.These bone bracelelets from kukee are on sale at the moment for £3 and im really tempted to get one.Silver or gold?

3.Pretty basic.But since I heard about above knuckle rings ive been longing for one,or a tonne. ill either get 2 or 4,im undecided. Ive not seen them in the shops but theyre such a good idea and an easy way to make hands look more interesting.

4.I love the way skater skirts look.they seem to flatter all figures and are easy to style. Ive been looking for one for ages.This one is £15 from river island.Id prefer it in black though.Any sort of skater skirt will do me though.

5.Litas litas litas.I posted a picture of some like these many moons ago.these are the actual jeffrey campbell ones which I saw in solestruck recently.I cant believe they're down to 59 from 130!I want them but thats a lot more than im likely to spend on shoes.If they were the all over spike litas I would almost definitely cast off my better judgement, or perhaps sell it to buy these shoes. Ive seen a lot of bloggers raving about them and theyre so fantastic.And its not like me to resist something with spikes.

Im hoping to do a couple of hauls soon as ive been shopping and have a january sales pillaging planned with some friends. I'm also mid edit on the things I bought in december for christmas presents and whatnot so you should get two quite soon. I have come into possession of a tripod and ill be back in my flat soon so it will be easier to get things sorted. Now that I have some more decent clothes to wear you should get some more OOTD posts too.

OOTD trip to buy supplies for the zombie apocolypse

I didnt really do anything fancy,just went to asda and bought 12 pot noodles,5 pasta and sauces,2 savoury rice and a deli box.Standard,zombie apocolypse come at me bro'.
I like this outfit because it feels a bit 90's to me,the crop top is a little short which occasionally shows my midriff but that just makes it more 90's.

I just threw my military coat over this because its warm and one of the few coats I have.One day maybe ill buy more coats so I can wear one that goes with my outfit,One day....
